Journey of Brady Black on Days of Our Lives

Brady Black on Days of Our Lives is the son of John Black and Isabella Toscano. He was born in 1992 and was then played by several child actors until his character went through Soap Opera Rapid Age Syndrome in 2000 when Kyle Lowder took over the role. Even though the character was written out in 2005, Eric Martsolf appeared as Brady in 2008.

Brady was raised by John and Marlena Evans as his mother died soon after his birth. Marlena cares about him like his own son and continues to worry about his alcohol addiction, which might risk his life and put him in some danger.

Initially, on Days of Our Lives, Brady didn’t like Marlena as he thought his father married her too soon after his mother’s death. However, they sorted things out during the time when Brady was shot and paralyzed temporarily.

Brady developed romantic feelings for Chloe Lane. However, had a short-term attraction to Nicole Walker when Chloe went to Europe to pursue her career, but as she returned to Salem, Brady again fell for Chloe and they both got married.

Their marriage soon ended as Brady became a drug addict and his grandfather Victor Kiriakis forcefully sent him to a rehab. As Brady came back clean, he remained friends with Chloe and got into a romantic relationship with Arianna. But as Arianna was killed in an accident, Brady became an addict again.

Nicole and Brady did try to make it work but at last, remained friends. Brady then got along with Madison, but she was killed on their wedding day. Next in his life was Kristen DiMera, who wanted revenge on John and Marlena. Brady called their wedding off as he got to know that she drugged and slept with his stepbrother, Eric Brady.

Brady started drinking and got intimate with Theresa, the daughter of Kimberly Brady and Shane Donovan. They both married one day when they were not in their senses. John blamed Theresa for using his son and in this confrontation, she hit John, which led him to be in a coma.

Theresa blamed it all on Brady, but as John woke up from the coma, he told the truth to Brady, after which he decided to dump Theresa. In the meantime, Theresa told Brady that she was pregnant with his child but the test didn’t show her pregnant as Kristen had stolen her embryo to carry the child herself.

Kristen gave birth to Christopher, but as Theresa and Brady took the kid back, they named him Tate. The couple developed a closeness and got engaged. Their happiness didn’t last for long as Brady, along with Daniel Jonas and Eric Brady, met an accident due to which Brady needed a heart transplant.

After several complications on Days of Our Lives, as Brady was shot trying to save Nicole, he finally got a transplant done. Kristen returned to Salem as she got to know that Victor and Xander exchanged her daughter with Sarah’s baby. She then stabbed Victor, and to save her from the police, Brady let her run away with her daughter, following which he also left the city.

As Brady returned to Salem on Days of Our Lives, his closeness with Chloe made Kristen and Philip jealous. As Philip was in trouble with the mob, Brady offered him help at the cost of staying away from Chloe. Brady was shot during this confrontation but as he recovered, he kept trying to be friends with Chloe.

Chloe was dating Philip, who saw Brady and Chloe hugging, because of which the latter thought that she cheated on him. To take revenge on Brady, Philip framed him in his attempt to murder case. On the other hand, Kristen dragged him into a custodial battle for their daughter, Rachel.

Brady dumped Chloe as Kristen blackmailed him to do so, threatening to poison his whole family, but Brady still had feelings for Chloe and her increasing closeness with Xander made him jealous. The tension was heightened with the ongoing custodial battle, ultimately leading to Brady becoming an addict again.
