Deacon Sharpe is the notorious bad boy of The Bold and The Beautiful. He first appears on the show in 2000 and immediately gets himself into all kinds of trouble. Starting by trying to blackmail the Forresters and then by marrying Bridget Forrester to get close to Bridget's mother, Brooke Logan, with whom he was having an affair. The affair resulted in the birth of their daughter, Hope Logan.
Deacon's life seemed to spiral down as he got involved in various schemes, including blackmailing Amber Moore after she and her friends discovered a hidden treasure. He had a flirt with Macy Alexander, which ended in her tragic death in a car accident.
Deacon then moved to The Young and the Restless, where he blackmailed Amber Moore, who was previously his lover and got involved with Nikki Newman during her struggle with alcoholism.
After serving in prison, Deacon returned to The Bold and the Beautiful to pick up where he had left off in his past relationship with Hope Logan. However, he found it hard to shake off his criminal and manipulative personality.
He would later be involved in romantic relationships, first with Quinn and later married. Further in the series, Quinn manipulates Deacon into criminal activities, including the plot to kill Liam Spencer, which fails.

Sean Kanan portrays Deacon in The Bold and the Beautiful. He was born on November 2, 1966, in Cleveland, Ohio. Sean is an American actor best known as A.J. Quartermaine on General Hospital. He first stepped into the role in 1993 to give one of the most memorable and dramatic performances for the classic family, the Quartermaines.
Kanan has played Deacon Sharpe in B&B and The Young and the Restless. Away from television, Kanan had his first appearance on film in The Karate Kid Part III, where he played Mike Barnes. He remains successful in all areas of his endeavor even as a multitalented writer and producer.
