Initially, Shauna suspected that Bill Spencer could be Flo's biological father, but she was unsure of the timeline of their relationship.
Shauna revealed to Flo that they would have to take a paternity test to determine who her father was. After doing so, it was then revealed that Flo's biological father was Storm Logan, making the girl part of the Logan clan. Shauna was extremely happy that Flo would find a home in a wealthy family like the Logans. After returning to town, Shauna reconnected with her old friend Quinn Forrester.
Shauna briefly dated Ridge Forrester while he was on a break with Brooke Logan, though the couple reunited later. Shauna schemed with Quinn Forrester to get Ridge back, getting him drunk and planning a quick wedding ceremony in Las Vegas. However, this plan did not work, and Ridge stayed with Brooke.
After this debacle, Shauna also briefly moved into the Forrester mansion, making Quinn worry that Shauna was after her husband, Eric Forrester.
