What was Hannah Scott's storyline on General Hospital?
Hannah Scott was introduced on General Hospital in 1999 as an FBI agent. She was tasked with the mission to obtain some information about Sonny Corinthos. It was assumed that Sonny would trust her because she resembled two of his former loves: Brenda Barrett and Lily Corinthos, but Hannah ended up falling in love with Sonny herself.
Carly initially suspected Hannah's feelings for Sonny, but Jason (Carly's boyfriend at the time) denied the possibility. Over time, Sonny started falling for Hannah too. When the FBI realized the situation, they brought in Hannah's father Roy DiLucca as an informant for them. Roy started working at the coffeehouse where he could keep a close eye on both Sonny and his daughter. He even informed the FBI of their movements regularly.
Soon, Jason and Carly started some investigating of their own and found out the truth about Hannah and Roy. They immediately told Sonny, who decided to double-cross the FBI by feeding Hannah false information about himself. Eventually, he fell out with Hannah and refused to speak to her again, even though she told him of her true love.
After her falling out with Sonny, Hannah started working in the Port Charles police department as an official liaison from the FBI's side. However, she and her father faced much pressure and blackmail from one of their FBI supervisors, Agent Larkin.
Roy decided to find some concrete evidence against Larkin that would send him to prison. He even traveled to the Caribbean to gain information about the supervisor's fraudulent transactions and illegal financial activities.
Getting to know about the plot against him, Larkin kidnapped Hannah. Roy teamed up with Sonny to rescue her and bring Larkin to justice. Due to this, Sonny received an official pardon of amnesty from the FBI.
Hannah Scott still continued to work for the federal agency but took up an assignment posting in Alaska and left Port Charles in 2001. Hannah hasn't been seen on screen since her exit from the soap.
