Justin Barber, played by Aaron D. Spears, made his debut on The Bold and the Beautiful in September 2009. Justin was brought to Los Angeles by Bill Spencer as part of a plan to gain control of Forrester Creations.

It was later discovered that Justin had a closer relationship with the Forrester family. Before entering the business world, Justin was a talented high school basketball player whose career was cut short by an injury. He then became Bill's right hand. His life changed dramatically when he reunited with his high school love, Donna Logan, who told him he had a son, Marcus.

Even though they started off on the wrong foot, Justin made an effort to bond with Marcus and also tried to rekindle his romance with Donna. They got married in 2011 but soon figured out that they were better off as friends.

By the end of the year, the couple mutually decided to split up. Even after the separation, Justin continued to play an important role in Bill's plans, using his legal knowledge and clever thinking to uncover secrets about Forrester Creations and its people.

He was part of many dangerous plans on The Bold and the Beautiful, like revealing Maya Avant's secrets and flying the helicopter that dropped Ridge Forrester into the Persian Gulf.

Justin's loyalty to Bill was often challenged, particularly as Bill's plans grew more risky. As per Bill’s order, Justin burn down Spectra Fashions, which almost led to Liam Spencer's death.

The conflict between Justin and Bill intensified when Bill was shot, and Justin was considered a suspect due to the potential motive he had and his location which was near the crime scene.

Although Justin kept helping Bill with different legal issues, he was tired of being an asset to Bill and hence he hid proof that could prove Bill and Liam’s innocence in Vinny Walker’s death. His disappointment led him to try to get his hands on the Spencer Publications, however, he failed, as his plans were exposed.

To seek redemption for his disloyalty, Justin joined the legal team of Ridge Forrester. He promised to help Ridge in return for not telling the police about his actions. He helped in finding out about Quinn Fuller's relationship with Carter Walton and slowly changed to be a better human being.

In July 2024, Justin showed up again on The Bold and the Beautiful at Tom Starr's concert in Il Giardino. There, he saw the unexpected arrival of Sheila Carter and Tom’s dramatic fall on stage, suggesting that there could be more to his story that the viewers don't know yet.
