The Young and the Restless: Lucy Romalotti helps Daniel and Heather reunite
Lucy was born on January 1, 2011, to Daniel Romalotti and Daisy Carter. At a party, Daisy drugs and has s*x with Daniel before she flies out of town. She enters Genoa City after a few months and informs him that she is pregnant with his child.
He refuses to accept the infant but eventually agrees later on. After Lucy's birth, Daisy elopes, taking her along, and she drops her off at the Church Of The Sacred Heart before escaping to Canada.
A man and his wife find Lucy and sell her in a black market. Billy Abbott purchases her to please his wife who can't have children. Thereafter, Phyllis finds out that Lucy is Daniel's daughter and her granddaughter, and wishes her to live with them. However, Daniel refuses, fearing that Daisy might come back if she gets to know.
A CPS social worker arrives and takes Lucy away from Abbott as the adoption papers did not have any background verification. Daniel then does a DNA test which confirms that he is the father and gets Lucy.
Daniel allows Billy and Victoria to adopt Lucy legally. This is followed by Daisy's return and appeals for parental rights, which leads to intense court drama. Eventually, Daisy gets Lucy's custody. Fearing Lucy's safety, Daniel elopes with Daisy, and she is later found in a mental hospital.
Currently, Lucy and Heather have returned to Genoa City permanently to live with Daniel. Lucy plays a matchmaker and helps Daniel and Heather to reunite. She also becomes friends with Faith Newman, who is not into the friendship as much as her.
