Actress Courtney Hope plays Sally on the soap. While the character originated on The Bold and the Beautiful, Sally's storyline on the soap was short. The character soon left town and moved to Genoa City to feature in the CBS sister soap The Young and the Restless.

What is Sally Spectra's storyline on The Bold and the Beautiful?
Sally Spectra is introduced as the granddaughter of Shirley Spectra on The Bold and the Beautiful.
She's first seen as a part of her family business Spectra Fashions, caught in the middle of a land dispute with Bill Spencer and CJ Garrison. Garrison tries to propose a merger between Spectra and Forrester Creations, but Sally assembles a team to stand her ground.
Sally starts building a social media presence for the brand and pulls many PR stunts against Steffy Forrester. She even starts dating Steffy's brother Thomas. Sally also becomes embroiled in a fashion publication debacle when Bill Spencer writes an article criticising Spectra Fashions.
Shirley Spectra comes to her granddaughter's aid at this point. She installs a camera on an intern Coco who goes to work at Forrester Creations. Due to this, Sally and Shirley get access to the designs from the brand just before their fashion runway debut.
Sally even breaks up with Thomas in an attempt to lessen her guilt about stealing the designs. However, she goes ahead with copying the designs and launching them a day before the Forresters.
That makes Steffy angry and she confronts Sally. In a twist of events for the character, the Spectra heir is charged with grand larceny. Thomas comes to Sally's aid by buying the Spectra Building and reviving the brand even in the face of the charges against Sally.
Bill Spencer, now snubbed the second time, arranges to set the Spectra Building on fire. Bill also convinces Thomas to leave Sally's side by telling him that his niece Caroline is dying. Sally is finally forced to sell the building to Bill, who prepares to demolish it.
On the day of the demolition, Sally makes one last effort to save her family legacy. She stages a protest inside the Spectra Fashions Building to prevent Bill from taking any action. Unfortunately, Bill doesn't realise that the protest is going on until it's too late: he pulls the trigger to demolish the building. That leaves Sally trapped under the rubble. She's rescued by Bill and Steffy.
Later, Sally joins Forrester Creations as a designer. She has a brief relationship with Wyatt Spencer, but it ends after she gets obsessively jealous about Wyatt's ex-girlfriend Flo.
She even kidnaps Flo until she has to be rescued by Wyatt himself. Even though Wyatt decides not to press charges, Sally announces that she needs to leave town to move on. It's at this point that the character moves from The Bold and the Beautiful to its sister soap The Young and the Restless.
