Lisa Yamada might continue as Luna Nozawa on The Bold and the Beautiful
Even though Luna Nozawa's future seems uncertain after her recent arrest, Lisa Yamada's performance as the character might still continue. The current storyline about Luna's paternity shows Poppy indicating that John "Finn" Finnegan could be Luna's father which opens up the door for Luna’s possible return to LA.
Naomi Matsuda, who plays Luna’s aunt Li Finnegan, hinted at Luna’s return with a post on Instagram. On September 6, Matsuda complimented Yamada’s acting skills, calling her a “gifted actress” and teased the possibility of working with her again in the near future.
Luna Nozawa's story arc on The Bold and the Beautiful
Luna Nozawa started her journey on The Bold and the Beautiful when she moved from San Francisco to Los Angeles to work as an intern at Forrester Creations, with the aim of becoming a fashion designer where she got attracted to RJ Forrester.
Even though her mother, Poppy, wanted her to leave Forrester, Luna stayed. She also ignored warnings from her aunt, Li Finnegan. This led to Luna and R.J. sharing their first kiss and growing closer romantically. Luna's support for RJ during Eric's medical crisis further strengthened their relationship.
As Luna's connection to the Forrester family deepened, her life became more complicated. A misunderstanding because of her mother's "special" mints caused Luna to sleep with Zende Forrester Dominguez mistakenly, thinking he was RJ.
Luna eventually admitted her mistake to RJ who forgave her as she didn’t do it intentionally. Just as they made up, Luna's paternity became central to the plot. The first DNA test proved Bill Spencer to be Luna’s father.
It was later revealed that Luna had manipulated the DNA test following her anger about her troubled childhood. Luna also killed Tom Starr, believing that he is her real father, and Hollis in the fear that he knows her truth. Luna then locked up Steffy Forrester, trying to get rid of anyone who could ruin her plans.
Luna’s truth couldn’t remain a secret for long as Finn, Li, and the other members of the Forrester family suspected her and found the truth, leading to her arrest.
