Alexa Havins on the ABC soap opera General Hospital is reportedly the new Lulu Spencer. The actress is a renowned face of daytime television as she portrayed Babe Carey Chandler on another ABC drama, All My Children.
On August 8, 1994, Lulu Spencer was first introduced as the daughter of the super couple Luke and Laura. From 1994 to 2005, the character was played by several child actors until Lulu reappeared as a 17-year-old in 2005, due to Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome. From then on, Julie Marie Berman took over the role till 2013. In 2013, Emme Rylan was roped in play the character and continued till 2020.
The character was last seen on General Hospital on December 1, 2020, when she suffered a bomb blast at the Floating Ribb restaurant in the town that led her into a coma. After four years of coma and bedridden Lulu, fans will finally get to see one of the show’s prominent characters back into action.
As per the current GH storyline, the viewers of the show must know that comatose Lulu is now in urgent need of a donor as she is suffering from liver failure. As soon as she gets the donor and recovers from the medical issues she has been through, the character will be seen with Alexa's face in the town of Port Charles.

According to Daytime Confidential, the new Lulu Spencer on General Hospital will be played by Alexa Carole Havins also known as Alexa Havins. She is an American actress born on November 16, 1980, in Artesia, New Mexico, United States. The actress spent her childhood in Chandler, Arizona, and attended Chandler High School.
Alexa Havins began her entertainment journey with her passion for dance at just three. At the age of five, she was already performing professionally with a jazz dance group. Her career took a new direction when acting coach Jean Fowler recognized her potential and encouraged her to move to New York City to polish her talent.
Alexa took this advice and enrolled at the prestigious Circle in the Square Theater School, where she truly recognized her love for acting. Later in Los Angeles, she trained further under the guidance of the well-known acting coach Brian Reise, who is still her mentor and close friend.
On the personal front, she married Justin Bruening, her co-star from All My Children, on June 5, 2005. Entertainment Weekly reported that Justin had proposed to Alexa shortly after filming a scene, where their on-screen characters were also getting engaged.
Following Justin's departure from the show, Alexa also exited, and the couple relocated to Los Angeles. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Lexington Grace, on August 10, 2010, and have since grown their family with two more children.
Alexa started her television career in 2003 with her role as Georgia Durante in the episode Mafia Model in Secret Lives (2003), Babe Carey in All My Children (2003-2007, 2011), Sarah in Turbo Dates (2008-2009), and Esther Drummond in Torchwood (2011).
The actress was nominated for Daytime Emmys (2005) for her role as Babe Carey. For the same role, she received a nod for Soap Opera Digest Awards in the category of Outstanding Younger Leading Actress (2005).
