Ashley Benson as Abigail Devereaux: Storylines on Days of Our Lives
Abigail was born on-screen on Days of Our Lives in 1992, delivered by her father Jack Devereaux in the Horton cabin. As a baby, the character struggled with aplastic anemia, which was cured after a bone marrow transplant from Austin Reed.
Abby grew up in Africa and Ireland when her parents moved away from Salem. The constant moving made her parents estranged from each other, though they eventually got back together and remarried. The whole Devereaux family finally managed to reunite in Salem at Abby's sweet sixteen party. This is when the character was rapidly aged up and Ashley Benson stepped into the role.
Abby began to become part of a social circle involving Jennifer, Frankie, Max and Chelsea. Chelsea started dating Max and Jennifer got together with Frankie, leaving Abby upset. Due to this, she started seeing someone named Josh and wanted to become exclusive with him. However, Josh moved away later and the reason for the same was never explored on the soap.
Abby started studying business at college in Salem while her family left town once more. She started working as an assistant in Max's garage to help around with the tasks there. She even briefly dated Max but the relationship did not work out. At this point, Abby left for London to be with her family and did not return to screen for quite a few years. This marked Ashley Benson's exit from Days of Our Lives too.
