227 had her play Sandra Clark as a series regular for the first four seasons before becoming a guest star in the fifth and final season. Sandra was portrayed as a rival to the show's main character, Mary Jenkins.

Sandra's initially abrasive characterization softened as the show progressed, transitioning from a crafty schemer to an airheaded persona.

The popularity of her character resulted in a pilot for a spin-off show titled Jackee, which would star Harry in a leading role. Unfortunately, this endeavor did not succeed.

Pauliana Price made her first appearance on March 1, 2020. She was introduced as a real estate mogul from Miami, Florida, who had come into new money and was the aunt of Lani Price.

Paulina planned to become a godmother to one of Lani's twin sons, unaware of Lanie's plan to put Julie Williams in that role instead. However, once Paulina discovered this, she backed down and respected Lani's decision.

Paulina extended her realtor ambitions to the town of Salem, aiming to revitalize Horton Square and enhance its racial integration. She took over the Basic Black storefront for that purpose, and Abe organized a meeting with her and the zoning board.

However, an old conflict from her life sprung when her daughter Chanel showed up in Salem. Paulina told Chanel that she needed to get a job instead of living off her earnings.
