Who is Jada Hunter on Days of Our Lives? Everything you need to know

Jada Hunter is the latest cop to join the Salem City Police Department on Days of Our Lives, and work under Commissioner Rafe Hernandez. She first made an appearance on the soap on July 19, 2022, as she came for an interview with Rafe and was hired. She assisted her boss in all prominent criminal cases in the city starting with the Abigail murder case.

Elia Cantu's character, Jada Hunter, has become deeply involved in Salem City on Days of Our Lives, moving through various romantic relationships and making both friends and enemies in her two years on the show. Days of Our Lives: A quick glance at Jada Hunter

Jada Hunter landed in Salem City in July 2022 and was hired by the city's Police Department to work on a murder case. She was meant to assist in Abigail DiMera's murder investigation. Her investigation led her first to Sarah Horton and then to Leo Stark. However, it was revealed that Clyde Weston was responsible for the crime and was soon apprehended.

Throughout the investigation, Jada assisted Rafe and they stayed close after the case closed. After arriving on Days of Our Lives, she was first paired with Eric Brady. However, she recognized Eric's love for Nicole and backed out of the relationship.

She also reached out to her father's friends, Kayla Brady and Steve Johnson. It was divulged to the audience that Jada had prior connections with Salem as her father Marcus Hunter was from the city. Soon, Marcus's other daughter and Jada's sister, Talia joined her in Salem.

A few months later, the character named Everett Lynch arrived in the city and failed to recognize Jada. It was disclosed that Jada was married to Everett in the past. She divorced him when he cheated on her with Stephanie. However, Jada knew the person as Bobby while the person had no recollection of being married to her. It was soon clear that Lynch was suffering from a form of DID and had forgotten his "Bobby" personality.

With Li Shin's murder and Abigail's exhumation in hand, Jada had a lot of work to look into. However, when her boss, Rafe, was stabbed and ended up in a coma, Jada had to shoulder more responsibility. She was confused about the reason for Bobby-Everett's arrival in Salem City.

Jada's boss and romantic interest, Rafe, is in the hospital in a coma. In July 2024, Bobby-Everett had asked Jada to meet him hinting he knew about Li's murderer. While Jada hesitated, Connie figured out that Everett knew the truth about her role in Li's murder. She stepped up and went into action.

Days of Our Lives' episode dated August 1, 2024, saw Jada and Stephanie beside a dying Everett with a pill bottle next to him in Salem Inn. When Jada asked him about taking the pills, he refuted taking them himself. As Everett died, Jada found a suicide note on his computer confessing to stabbing Rafe.
