Judah Mackey joined The Young and the Restless in 2019, playing the role of Connor Newman, as the son of Adam Newman and Chelsea Lawson. His appearance came at a key time in the plot, when his character was caught in a whirlpool of emotions.
When Judah took over the role, Connor was struggling with the shock of his father, Adam, returning from the dead. This sudden reappearance disrupted Connor's life, causing feelings of confusion and fear. As his parents, Adam and Chelsea, struggle to salvage their complicated relationship, Connor becomes increasingly troubled.

In an exclusive interview with Soap Digest Opera on March 15, 2024, Judah was asked about his favorite part about working in The Young and the Restless. To which he replied:
“I’m proud to be a part of such an iconic show with hard-working and talented people. The entire cast and crew are really nice and it feels like a big family."
He further added that his younger brother Benjamin Mackey also came to the studio and met everyone.
He was also asked what he most liked about Melissa. He commented saying:
“Missy has such good energy. She’s always laughing and smiling. I also don’t know anyone who can cry on cue like Missy can! It’s pretty amazing. We’ve always gotten along really well, just like with Mark.”
Thereafter, when asked what the best about working with Mark is, the actor replied that he is cool and they talk about soccer the most.
