Kristen Vagnos debuted as Molly in 2023. However, the role originated in 2005 portrayed by twins Hope and Faith Dever from 2005 to 2007, she was the rapidly grown played by Iris and Ivy Kaim from 2007 to 2008. Followed by Haley Pullos from 2009 to 2023, and Brooke Anne Smith in 2023, until Kristen took over the show as a recurring character as of now.

Molly's story arc in General Hospital
Molly was born onscreen on November 10, 2005, in General Hospital as the daughter of Ric Lansing and Alexis Davis and the niece of Port Charles mob boss Sonny Corinthos. She faced a lot of criticism for being nerd and smart.
The character had gone through various challenging plots and dynamics. Starting with being born during a deadly train crash, followed by being co-parented by her mother and father due to their divorce.
Molly's life continued to be dramatic when she got to know about her mother's affair with Mayor Floyd and her sister Kristina being abused by her boyfriend. Molly suffered from Post Traumatic Disorder when she got injured in a bus crash. Thereafter, she was put behind bars due to her involvement in helping Rafe and John McBain rescued from custody.
Her life continued to be stressed and full of drama until she met the love of her life TJ. Initially, when TJ proposed to her she declined. However, the thought of leaving such a beautiful relationship terrified her, and she eventually agreed to marry TJ. As the storyline continues they agree on starting a family.
Kristen as Molly in General Hospital
After the exit of Brooke in 2023, Kristen entered as a new recast of Molly. By then Molly had decided to follow the footsteps of her mother by switching to criminal defense law.
Molly and TJ decided to start a family. However, Molly's pregnancy test came back negative and she visited a doctor. She was suffering from endometriosis, which reduced her chances of being pregnant. She informed TJ and they decided to get a surrogate. Molly's sister Kristina offered to be their surrogate. However, they declined and searched for another surrogate.
They chose Andrea to become their surrogate. She eventually got pregnant but after a few months suffered a miscarriage.
In 2024, Kristina again offered to be a surrogate which the couple accepted. TJ and Molly went through a rough patch when she informed him that Kristina witnessed a violent altercation between Sonny and Dex.
However, to gain parental rights they filed some papers, but were stunned when Kristina refused to sign. Meanwhile, Ava confronted Kristina regarding an issue which she refused. As their fight continued she back towards the wall and fell into a swimming pool.
Once again, the baby died in the accident. Molly was seen bursting out in tears at the loss of hope. She stopped Sonny from entering the hospital room to meet Kristina.
