Who are the new members on The Young and the Restless? Everything you need to know

The Young and the Restless saw many characters returning to town for appearances at Devon and Abby's wedding at the Newman Ranch. The episode on November 13 was the 13,000-episode celebration for the soap, which is why many familiar faces united to mark the event.

Most of the present and recurring characters in Genoa City were also a part of the wedding, either directly or as guests.

Many characters also made a return to the soap, including Ashley Abbott, who came for her daughter Abby. Additionally, Jill Abbott is also in Genoa City now, for a storyline surrounding her company Chancellor.

Apart from the two leading ladies, characters like Ana Hamilton, Harmony Hamilton, and Dominic Winters were also seen in the wedding episode.

Abby's mother Ashley returned to Genoa City for the wedding of her daughter this week. The character was portrayed by the most iconic actress associated with the role: Eileen Davidson. Though Davidson has left her permanent role on the soap, she still makes an appearance on occasion for some events.

On the soap, Ashley was seen interacting with other characters in Genoa City and helping Abby get ready for her wedding ceremony. Ashley also joined Victor Newman in walking their daughter down the aisle.

Otherwise, Ashley lives in Paris off-screen, obtaining treatment for her Dissociative Identity Disorder.

Actress Jess Walton returned on screen to reprise her role as Jill Abbott. After a few appearances on video calls, the character has now returned to town. Initially, Jill found out how her son Billy was heading the family company Chancellor. She was especially upset after Billy fired Lily and hired his ex Phyllis instead.

Jill warned Billy to mend things at the company, or she might have to step in and intervene. Finally, with Jill's return, it seems like she shall soon take the reins back into her own hands from Billy.

Devon's half-sister Ana Hamilton also made an appearance on the soap this week. The character's last storyline was her leaving Genoa City to care for her ailing father Jett Slade. She was last seen on the soap in 2019.


Chene Lawson as Harmony Hamilton

Chelsea Lawson returned as Harmony Hamilton, Devon's mother in the storyline. Harmony initially went by the name Yolanda when she gave birth to her children, and later changed her identity to Harmony while serving as a waitress in Wisconsin.

The character was last seen on the soap in 2023.


River Ware as Dominic Winters

Abby's son Dominic Winters was also a part of the wedding ceremony. Legally, the child was born to Abby and Chance Chancellor when the two were in a relationship and wanted to start a family.

However, Dominic was a surrogate baby with Devon as the sperm donor and Mariah as his surrogate mother.


Melvin Robert as Reverend Holmes

Actor Melvin Robert was also featured on the Wednesday episode as Reverend Holmes, the officiant for Abby and Devon's wedding. The actor is most popularly known as the anchor for the programme Good Day LA.


Colleen Zenk as Jordan

After the wedding celebrations, the soap returned to another drama-filled storyline that none of the characters expected.

On November 14, actress Colleen Zenk returned as Jordan on the soap. Jordan broke out from prison, and is now looking to create some mischief as soon as possible.


Ray Wise as Ian Ward

Along with Jordan, her partner-in-crime Ian Ward also made his way on screen in the same episode. He was also incarcerated in the same prison as her, and has returned to wreak some havoc on Genoa City.
