Philip Kiriakis is set to give the drama of Days of Our Lives a new twist in the upcoming episodes of the soap. He returned to town in the last week of October 2024, to claim his inheritance on his father's company despite not being named on the will.

NBC's Days of Our Lives is one of the longest-running American daily soaps and has been airing since November 1965. It began airing on its current streaming partner, Peacock in 2022. The soap's storyline is set in the fictional Salem city and revolves around its various resident families. The plot has covered many characters from their birth to adulthood and beyond.

Philip Kiriakis is one such character who was born within the storyline in 1995. The character has been played by many adult and child actors over the years. Currently, Philip is being portrayed by John-Paul Lavoisier. Lavoisier first played Philip between 2015 and 2016 and later returned in 2023 for a few episodes.

John-Paul Lavoisier started portraying Victor's son, Philip, in 2015 but left in 2016. He returned to the role in 2023, when Philip returned to attend his father's funeral. He is back on Days of Our Lives as the plot focuses on the inheritance war between Victor's sons, Philip and Xander.

American model and actor, JP Lavoisier, started his television career with All My Children in 2001. Some of his other well-known projects include Gossip Girl, Sex and the City, Flavors, Beacon Hill, Winterthorne, Crazy B*tches, The Mentalist, and One Life to Live where he famously played Rex Balsom.

Days of Our Lives: A look at Lavoisier's Philip

Lavoisier's Philip was being manipulated by Deimos Kiriakis, Victor's brother, to rejoin Titan and destroy Victor. After Victor learns about Philip's betrayal, their father throws him out of the company and his life. While Philip rekindles his relationship with Belle, he is still in love with Chloe Lane.

When Chloe returns to town, the duo sets up a music company. Philip pretends to be the father of the baby Chloe is carrying for Nicole. However, he is heartbroken from two ends. For one, his father chooses the betrayer Deimos as the CEO of Titan and on the other side, Chloe refuses to commit to him.

After surviving being drugged by Deimos, a dejected Philip leaves town. Back in Salem in 2023 for Victor's funeral, he chooses this time to smooth out his past issues.

He apologizes to Brady Black, who Philip had framed for his murder. He also congratulates Xander on his engagement with Chloe despite loving her. He agrees to officiate the marriage. However, Xander learns that he is the father of Sarah's baby and the marriage is called off. With this, Philip reconciles with Chloe to settle abroad.

In October 2024, Philip returned to Days of Our Lives, as Kristen DiMera had been manipulating Xander into signing off Titan to her in return for the medicinal serum for Sarah. He puts up a litigation case to take over Titan as Victor's rightful heir. While a desperate Xander is contemplating killing Philip, Philip's surrogate mother, Vivian, has his back.

Vivian Alamain joins hands with Philip to satisfy her hunger for wealth and power. Spoilers suggest Vivian will coax her rival and Philip's biological mother, Kate Roberts, to join the scheme. Knowing Philip's life may be in danger, Kate may join hands with her son and Vivian.
