Justin Hartley's storyline as Adam Newman on The Young and the Restless

During Justin Hartley’s time as Adam Newman, the character faced several intense challenges. After being framed by Chloe for poisoning Constance Bingham, Adam ended up in prison. Victor helped him escape, and Adam planned to flee with Chelsea and their son, Connor. However, Chloe tracked him down, seeking revenge for Delia’s death, and shot Adam with a tranquilizer.

She left him to die in a cabin explosion, with DNA evidence suggesting his death. Adam’s presumed demise paved the way for a dramatic exit of Justin Hartley from The Young and the Restless.

At a point, Adam assumed Gabriel Bingham’s identity and manipulated situations to reconnect with Chelsea and their son while keeping his true identity hidden. Jack eventually discovered the truth but kept quiet, allowing Adam to stay close to his loved ones. Despite his efforts, Adam’s double life only intensified the danger and intrigue surrounding him.
