Nicole Walker is a character on Days of Our Lives who was introduced on the soap in 1998. Nicole is expected to depart from the series on July 29 due to behind-the-scenes difficulties Arianne Zucker, the actor who plays the role.

Arianne has alleged in a wrongful termination lawsuit that she was let go from the soap for filing a s**ual harassment complaint against executive producer and director Albert Alarr, who himself was fired as a consequence.

While Arianne has already finished filming her final scenes as Nicole Walker on Days of Our Lives, her final episode is expected to air on July 29, per what she said on her YouTube channel:

“I was really appreciative of the amount of support that I have had since leaving Days of our Lives. I’ll just be kind about it right now and just so you all know, my last airdate is…I think it’s July 29, and we’ll see how things go after that.”

Nicole's departure from Days of Our Lives has allegedly been the culmination of heated backstage conflicts between Arianne Zucker and the producers of the soap, Corday Productions. Arianne accused executive producer Albert Alarr of s**ually harassing her, which led to his firing after an internal investigation in August 2023.

However, when Arianne's contract was terminated in February 2024, she filed a wrongful termination suit, alleging that her firing was retaliation for speaking out about her harassment.

Her lawsuit, which names Ken Corday and his company, Corday Productions, in addition to Albert Alarr, alleges that the production company did not properly address the harassment she faced and only fired Alarr after her allegations became public knowledge in order to save face.

She also accused Corday Productions of strongarming her when her contract came up for renewal by offering her a "take it or leave it" deal where they wouldn't negotiate terms.

Both Corday Productions and Albert Alarr's attorneys have denied any wrongdoing. In a statement to TMZ, a spokesman for Corday Productions claimed Arianne's allegations had no merit and claimed that Arianne had tried to negotiate a pay increase that the production company rejected.

The spokesperson also insisted that their handling of Albert Alarr was completely above board, and they were prompt and impartial in their investigation.

Albert Alarr's attorney also strongly denied any wrongdoing in a statement to TMZ, saying:

“As Albert said when Ms. Zucker first leveled these outrageous claims through the press last year, her baseless allegations were examined in a detailed and entirely independent investigation that lasted for two months. Dozens of individuals cooperated and every claim was thoroughly looked into. At the end of that process, the decision was made that Albert should continue in his role as Co-Executive Producer of Days of Our Lives.”

While the legal battle over Arianne Zucker's allegations is yet to be resolved in court, it is apparent that the collapse of the professional relationship between Arianne and Corday Productions is the reason Nicole Walker is leaving Days of Our Lives.
