The City of Palms Classic is already underway in Florida, and on Thursday, Day 2 kicked off with a lot of highly anticipated match-ups and great games. In those games, several elite players really shined.
Several top teams competed at the event, including Columbus, Long Island Lutheran, Montverde Academy, and IMG Academy. These schools are filled with top-ranked talent, but who shined the most on Day 2?

5) CJ Ingram - Montverde Academy
Millenium High School put up a valiant fight and actually pushed defending Chipotle National champions Montverde Academy to the limit. However, a double-double from CJ Ingram sealed the deal for the defending champs with 17 points and 12 rebounds. The Eagles won that game, 68-63.
4) Cameron Boozer - Columbus
It was another dominant win for Cameron Boozer and the Columbus Explorers, demolishing Great Crossing 90-39, with Cameron having 23 points and nine rebounds.
However, this was more of a team effort win, as several explorers were in double figures, including twin brother Cayden Boozer with 16 points and eight assists, while fellow five-star Caleb Gaskins added 18 points. Meanwhile, Jaxon Richardson, son of former NBA player Jason Richardson, was the unsung hero of the game with 16 points, four rebounds, and two steals.
3) Jamier Jones - Oak Ridge
Jemier Jones and Oak Ridge booked a ticket to the quarterfinals, as Oak Ridge defeated Bishop McNamara 103-61. Jones almost had a triple-double during Day 2 of the City of Palms Classic with 25 points, eight rebounds, and nine assists.
2) Dylan Mingo - Long Island Lutheran
No Kiyan Anthony? That is no problem, as five-star junior Dylan Mingo took over for Long Island Lutheran in a double-double performance with 30 points and 10 assists, along with seven rebounds. He led LuHi to a dominating 93-57 victory over Gateway Charter.
NBA legend Carmelo Anthony was spotted cheering for LuHi, even though his son, Kiyan, was still out with an injury.
1) Darius Acuff - IMG Academy
Arkansas commit and five-star point guard Darius Acuff was undoubtedly the best player during the second day of the City of Palms Classic, as he had a monster game against Faith Family Academy with 38 points, six rebounds, and four assists. However, it was a very close game, with IMG Academy escaping by only three points in the final, 81-78.
