The high school football season reached its climax over the weekend with the 2025 Navy All-American Bowl featuring some top Texas Longhorns recruits. The Navy All-American is one of the biggest annual events in high school football and features some of the best talents from across the country.
Below are five Texas Longhorns recruits who partook in what is perhaps the most prestigious high school football event in the country.
Kade Phillips, Cornerback
Kade Phillips is a four-star Texas cornerback signee from Hightower High School in Missouri City, Texas. The Longhorns battled other top programs, including Texas A&M, LSU, Baylor, and Arizona State, to land the in-state talent. Phillips is set to gear up for Steve Sarkisian’s team later in the fall for his college freshman season.
Michael Terry III, ATH
Michael Terry III is one of the Texas Longhorns’ most prized signees of the 2025 class. The versatile player is the No. 1 ATH in the country, according to On3 Industry Ranking. The Alamo Heights (San Antonio, TX) product held offers from Oregon, Nebraska, and Texas A&M, among other top programs.
Kaliq Lockett, Wide Receiver
Kaliq Lockett, an undisputed five-star talent from Sachse High School in Sachse, Texas, is one of the latest additions to the Longhorns’ receivers room. He was an in-demand recruit, receiving 31 offers, per 247Sports, including offers from Alabama, Florida State, LSU, and Texas A&M. However, he declared for the Texas Longhorns, cementing his commitment during the national signing period.
Daylan McCutcheon, Wide Receiver
Four-star wide receiver Daylan McCutcheon is another standout receiver Sarkisian’s staff was able to get ahead of stiff competition from other programs. Also, an in-state talent, the Lovejoy (Lucas, Texas) product is a 5-ft-11, 175-pound delight down the flank on and off the ball. He was heavily recruited by top programs, including Ohio State, USC, SMU, and Texas A&M, before pledging his commitment to the Longhorns.
The standout receiver was flipped from the Florida State Seminoles, adding to the impressive receiver recruiting class for Texas’ wide receivers coach Chris Longhorn.
Jaime Ffrench, Wide Receiver
Rated five-star by the 247Sports Composite, Jaime Ffrench is a further testament to the strength of the Longhorn’s receivers room additions. Ffrench is the only talent on this list from outside Texas. The 6-ft-1, 184-pound talent is a product of Mandarin High School in Jacksonville, Florida.
The Longhorns won the race to sign Ffrench ahead of Alabama, LSU, Ohio State, and his home state program, the Miami Hurricanes.
