The 2025 Spalding Hoophall Classic has just been completed, and it was indeed entertaining, exciting, and filled with a number of eye-catching performances. The event, which ran from the 16th to the 20th of January, featured a number of top-rated teams and players who put on an excellent display.
It was also hard to ignore the rich NBA DNA in the tournament, as there were a number of NBA sons and daughters who represented their various teams at the event.
Here's a closer look at six NBA sons and daughters who were impressed with the recently concluded Spalding Hoophall Classic:
1. Cayden and Cameron Boozer
The Boozer twins, sons of two-time NBA all-star Carlos Boozer, are two of the most popular names in high school basketball at the moment. The brothers have been crucial to the Explorer's performance this season and were once again brilliant at the Spalding Hoophall Classic, where they led the team to two wins out of two.
Their first game at the Hoophall Classic came against highly rated Notre Dame, which fell to a 76-53 defeat. No. 2 ranked Cameron Boozer delivered 25 points, 15 rebounds, six assists, and three steals, while his brother Cayden ended the game with 19 points, seven assists, and a steal.
The second game against Perry High School was another routine win. Cameron once again put up a brilliant performance, delivering 31 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists, while his brother Cayden contributed 11 points and eight assists to help Columbus to a 75-65 victory.
2. Kiyan Anthony
Kiyan Anthony's father, Carmelo Anthony, was a former NBA champion and ten-time NBA All-Star. His son, Kiyan Anthony, is another standard performer at the Hoophall Classic, helping Long Island Lutheran win all their games at the event.
The 6-foot-5 shooting guard earned the game MVP award against AZ Compass Prep after he delivered 17 points to help the Crusaders to a 63-57 victory. In the team's 68-55 victory against La Lumiere, he contributed 16 points and two assists.
3. Bryce James
NBA legend Lebron James' son, Bryce James, also had a pretty impressive performance at the Hoophall Classic. The Sierra Canyon forward delivered 16 points, five rebounds, and four steals to lead the Trailblazers to a 60-46 victory against the highly ranked Grayson Rams. Even more impressive, Bryce won the game's MVP award for his incredible performance.
4. Kaden and Kalek House
The House brothers, sons of former NBA champion Eddie House, are two players who also had a good individual performance at the Hoophall classic. Despite falling to a 63-57 loss against Long Island Lutheran, the brothers were still quite impressive. They combined to deliver 27 points and nine assists, which unfortunately wasn't enough to get the Dragons the much-desired victory.
5. Sydney Douglas
Maylana Martin Douglas, Sydney Douglas' mum, played in the WNBA with the Minnesota Lynx from 2000-2001. 6-foot-7 freshman Sydney Douglas also featured with the Ontario Christian Academy team as they won 87-75 against the Christ the King Royals at the Hoophall classic. The 16-year-old freshman contributed seven points, six rebounds, and two blocks to the victory.
6. Jaxon Richardson
NBA veteran Jason Richardson's son, Jaxon Richardson, was another standout performer in the Explorer's impressive display at the Hoophall Classic. The five-star junior delivered 16 points and 10 rebounds, helping Columbus to a 75-65 victory against Perry High School.
