While some elite 2025 basketball prospects have already committed, many others have not. While No. 2 Cameron Boozer and No. 3 Darryn Peterson have committed to Duke and Kansas, respectively, the No. 1 ranked player remains uncommitted and has yet to commit to any school.
Schools all over the country are putting their best foot forward for the recruits as many are still available. Here are the Top 5 who are still up for grabs:
Top 5 Class of 2025 prospects still uncommitted
5) Chris Cenac Jr. (No. 7 overall, Power Forward)
Chris Cenac Jr. is one of the most sought-after forwards in the class. However, the Louisiana native may be staying in his home state, as the LSU Tigers are coming out as the favorites to land him. This can still change, though, as other schools are trying to make some late pushes.
4) Koa Peat (No. 6 overall, Power Forward)
The Class of 2025 is filled with many power forwards, and Koa Peat is one of them, being ranked the No. 6 overall. The uncommitted Perry star is highly touted after he burst into the scene in his freshman year and has remained one of the top prospects since. As for the school that is the favorite to get his commitment, it is Arizona.
3) Caleb Wilson (No. 5 overall, Power Forward)
Another top uncommitted power forward, Caleb Wilson is now down to his Top 5 schools: Kentucky, North Carolina, Ohio State, Tennessee and UCF. He has modeled his game after Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic but also likes to play more of a combo forward role.
So far, Kentucky is the favorite to land him, with a 75.4% chance on On3.
2) Nate Ament (No. 4 overall, Small Forward)
Nate Ament is the first small forward on the list, and Tennessee, Louisville, and Notre Dame appear to be the front-runners, though Kansas State remains a contender. His NIL deal with Reebok has only increased his status, as he is genuinely an uncommitted athlete.
1) AJ Dybantsa (No. 1 overall, Small Forward)
Many have seen this one coming, as AJ Dybantsa is still considered officially uncommitted. He is down to his final seven but will only be making that decision in February, according to his dad. The BYU Cougars are the frontrunners to land him.
