The offseason is a time when college football recruiting is ramping up for high school athletes, and Honor Fa'Alave-Johnson is a hot ticket. Some of the top football players in the country are taking visits, committing and more. One recruit in particular seemed to have had a good visit to the Oregon Ducks.
The 4-position player recently visited the Oregon Ducks this past weekend along with other top recruits. Honor has been on a slew of recruiting visits to multiple teams but Oregon seems to be getting most of the recruit's time. Oregon offered him on July 28th, 2024 and he's visited the Ducks four times according to multiple recruiting sites such as Sports Illustrated and others.
Fa'alave-Johnson talked further about his most recent visit to Oregon.
"Definitely the coaches. They make it know that although I’m young I'm a guy they want bad. Also just with the vibe and aura I feel over there. Everything feels like a second home. The coaches stand out to me because they always look out for me and just make Oregon feel like home."

Honor Fa'alave-Johnson is a class of 2027 athlete who primarily plays safety out of Cathedral Catholic High School in San Deigo, California. He's rated as a 4-star prospect, 4th-best athlete, 3rd-best player in the state of California, and the 15th-best overall player in the country according to 247sports.
The San Diego native holds offers from top college football programs such as Arizona, Cal, Miami, Washington, Oregon, USC and others. With him being a west coast recruit, he's been able to accumulate offers from teams in the Big10 and such.
Fa'alave-Johnson plays multiple positions on the football field such as running back, safety, wide receiver, and cornerback. The 6-foot 170-pounder makes plays all over the field. Speed is a factor for the 2027 athlete as he ran a 4.58 at the SoCal National Preps camp where he ultimately won MVP. As a receiver, Honor utilizes his speed to create separation against defensive backs. At safety, he scans the field well and is a force in the secondary.
In his freshman year in 2023 at St. Augustine High School in California, Honor had 62 total tackles, 14 passes defended, and 1 fumble recovery on defense. On offense he carried the ball 69 times for 702 rushing yards and 11 touchdowns while having 15 receptions for 123 yards and a touchdown.
