Colorado’s elite signee Julian Lewis, a five-star quarterback out of Carrollton (Georgia), flexed his season stats on X on Monday. The post drew reactions from netizens, especially Colorado fans expressing their eagerness to see Lewis in their colors.

A Colorado fan, Sade06Evett, extended congratulations to Lewis while expressing wishes to see him repeat the feat for the Buffs:

“Congratulations Juju!! Awesome season! Can’t wait to see you ball out as a Buff!!”

Another fan, the Sports Forum, simply expressed an excited welcome to the signee:

“We’re excited to see you out here in Colorado Ju Ju!”

For @DemocratsOnly, there's already a vision for the next couple of years for Lewis at Colorado:

“Can't wait to see you grow even more next couple years Ju Ju. Sko Buffs.”

However, it wasn’t all congratulations and good wishes. Some fans had a different reaction, like Uno Trey, who wrote:

“Get your weight up kid. Look light.”

Julian Lewis’ state championship loss and the next career direction

Julian Lewis recently lost a state championship game to Grayson. He played despite having broken his hand. The loss tainted Carrollton’s otherwise undefeated season. Nevertheless, the quarterback can take solace in his personal milestones.

Lewis completed 267 of his 353 passes for 3,798 yards and 48 touchdowns, having a 75.6% pass completion rate. He is leaving high school with a total of 11,010 career passing yards for 144 touchdowns over just three seasons.

Julian Lewis’ qualities as a quarterback have been obvious since he was in middle school, prompting several top programs to contend for his signature. Originally a member of the 2026 recruiting class, Lewis is finishing high school a year early to get his college career underway quickly.

Lewis initially chose the USC Trojans out of the 37 programs that offered him, according to 247Sports. However, in one of the biggest flip stories in this cycle, Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes hijacked him from the Trojans. He has been touted to replace Shedeur Sanders as the Buffs’ starting quarterback next season.
