Meadows flipped his commitment from LSU to Alabama on national signing day. The four-star wide receiver previously committed to LSU in July. Standing at 6-5 and weighing 200 pounds, Meadows is from Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, Nevada. He is Nevada’s No. 3 prospect in the 2025 class and ranks No. 14 among wide receivers nationally, according to the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
Meadows is the fifth player in the class to flip to Alabama. Others include Russell, previously committed to SMU and running back Akylin Dear, formerly committed to Ole Miss. Meadows joins three-star receiver Lotzier Brooks as the only other wide receiver at the moment in Alabama's 2025 class.
How Meadows, Russell fit in Alabama's recruitment

Russell cemented his commitment to the Crimson Tide Wednesday. He signed with the Tide as the early signing period opened. From Duncanville High School in Duncanville, Texas, Russell is the top recruit out of the state.
Russell was initially an SMU commit. However, a standout presence on the camp circuit put him on the radar of leading programs including Alabama. The Tide eventually won the race to sign him.
His senior season at Duncanville reinforced the hype surrounding him, as his side are the favorites to win the Texas Class 6A-I championship. In 11 games, he has thrown for 3,180 yards and 46 touchdowns. Prior to his senior season, he led the Panthers to consecutive state titles in Texas’ highest classification.
