The Indiana Hoosiers had a tough 2023-24 season. They finished with an overall record of 19-14 and had a .500 record in the Big Ten, winning 10 of their 20 games.
The Hoosiers have had a tough time acquiring top talent from the nation. However, that could change this year as the Indianapolis-based university is in the running to sign some of the best talent in the country. Multiple five-star recruits are on the program's radar.
Let's look at three prospects that the Hoosiers could target from the class of 2025.
Indiana's Top 3 players to watch
#3 Braylon Mullins
Coach Mike Woodson and the Hoosiers made an early offer to Greenfield-Central High School's Braylon Mullins. The four-star shooting guard from Greenfield, Indiana, is one of the best players in his class and the Hoosiers are the favorites to land him, as per On3.
Indiana made an offer to Mullins back in September last year. He averaged 16.9 points, 5.2 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game during his sophomore season. He shot 59% from the field and 47% from beyond the arc.
Mullins received interest from other top schools such as Kentucky, Michigan, North Carolina and Connecticut. He has received offers from Iowa, Notre Dame and Virginia Tech.
#2 Bryson Tiller
Another prospect on Indiana's radar is the Overtime Elite's five-star power forward, Bryson Tiller. He visited the university back in December last year. Tiller spoke about his visit to the Hoosiers' campus.
"The atmosphere was amazing," Tiller said, as per The Daily Hoosier. "How they play is amazing. They run an NBA style. Coach Woodson obviously has years of experience. It was a really good visit. I enjoyed my time there."
He also spoke about the advice from Mike Woodson and company.
"It’s really about me working," the five-star recruit said. "I’m not expecting to be given anything. I’m ready to work for everything. The system that they run, how they use their forwards, I like it a lot."
Tiller is ranked No. 13 nationally and is the 4th-best power forward in the country, according to On3 Industry Rankings. He is also the 4th-best prospect from the state of Georgia.
#1 Jalen Haralson
Jalen Haralson is one of the best hoopers from the class of 2025 in the entire country. The 6-foot-6 small forward from Anderson, Indiana, has received interest from multiple top schools, including the Hoosiers.
Haralson is part of the nation's U17 team that is currently competing in the FIBA U17 World Cup in Turkiye. He visited Indiana's campus once before and is set to take an official visit to the Hoosiers' campus in August this year.
Other schools that are interested in signing the five-star recruit are Gonzaga, Duke, Missouri, Auburn, Indiana, Notre Dame, Purdue, Kansas and Michigan State. He is ranked no. 10 nationally and is the best overall prospect from the state of Indiana, as per On3.
