Nate Ament, the No. 4 recruit in the Class of 2026, displayed his scoring prowess in the Highland Hawks's 68-63 win against Bishop McNamara on Saturday. The $1,300,000 NIL-valued Ament finished the game with a double-double, scoring 26 points and grabbing 11 boards as he led the Hawks to improve their record to 8-2.
League Ready took to Instagram to post some highlights of the 6-foot-9 small forward, including footage of him converting fastbreak points, taking on defenders and using creative finishes to convert and-ones. Ament also looked unstoppable on the defensive end.

ESPN has given Nate Ament a 95 Scout Grade, while On3 lists him as the No. 3 small forward and the best player in Virginia. However, On3, ESPN, Rivals, and 247Sports rated Ament as a five-star recruit.
Ament helped Team USA win the gold medal in the 2024 FIBA Men's U18 AmeriCup. He averaged 3.7 points, 0.5 assists, one steal and 1.5 rebounds while shooting 55.6 percent from the field and 25 percent from beyond the arc.
The Manassas, VA native has received offers from many top programs nationwide, including Virginia Tech, Kentucky, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Georgia, and Alabama. However, his final list included Bryant, Creighton, Duke, Florida State, George Mason, Illinois, and UConn.
Nate Ament talks about his NIL deal with Reebok
Ament sits level with 4-time NBA Champ LeBron James's son, Bryce James, regarding NIL value. With a 1.3 million NIL value, Ament is at the fourth spot in High School NIL basketball rankings behind No. 1 prospect AJ Dybantsa, Duke commit Cameron Boozer and Kansas commit Darryn Peterson.
Ament talked about the deal with Swish Cultures on YouTube, stating that he was not wholly aware of Reebok as a brand:
"Obviously I didn't really know about Reebok," Ament said (0:55). "I didn't know about you know I don't know about much clothing brands, to be honest. But once I did my research, a little bit research their products um, the management, the people they've brought in, it was really just a no-brainer for me."
