On Saturday, Bryce James and the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers were at Blake Arena in Springfield, Massachusetts, to face five-star Caleb Holt and the Grayson Rams for this year's Hoophall Classic. During the game, LeBron James' youngest son exploded and took over the game, leading Sierra Canyon to a 60–46 win.

Bryce James' 16 points, five rebounds and four steals during the game earned him an MVP award, complete with a plaque. Fans flocked to the comments section of Instagram to make their opinions heard about the youngest scion of the James family.

While LeBron James was not present at the game, the LA Lakers superstar made his feelings known with a tweet.

"Bryce James going crazy in the Hoophall Classic right now! Flame thrower," the former NBA MVP tweeted on Sunday.

However, LeBron James was present during Bryce's previous game: the Sierra Canyon senior night game against the Loyola Cubs. Bryce contributed 12 points to Sierra Canyon's dominating 84–42 win.
