La Verne (Calif.) Bonita star Dylan Robinson is one of the most highly-touted prospects in the 2025 recruiting class. Just like other uncommitted players in his class, he also finalized his preferred teams before officially heading into his senior season.

Robinson has decided on Notre Dame, UCLA and Washington as his top 3 teams and will announce his commitment on July 18.

“I am still working the final things out, but I am close,” Robinson told On3. “There are good people at all three schools, and that is a main reason why these are my top three schools, so I have a lot to think about it. Each is a great school, so I have a lot to think about."

Robinson visited the Bruins on an official visit on June 21, following visits to the Irish on June 11 and the Huskies on May 31.

“My official visits to all three schools were great and each has a family atmosphere. The staffs at all three are great and when I go down my list, things cancel out because I like the same things about each school."

Robinson now wants to balance his choices with inputs from his family and personal reflection to make a well-considered decision.

“I have to lay everything out there and talk it out with my family. I will talk each possibility out and pray about it. Time is huge for me. That is why I am doing it a little later. I don’t want to commit, decommit and all, so I am taking a little more time to make sure of my decision.”

Despite the looming big decision, the prospect maintains a composed outlook.

“Maybe a little bit of stress," Robinson told Irish Sports Daily. "There are so many good people I have to decide between, but I can see the end and it'll be alright.”

Robinson is ranked as the No. 15 player in California and the No. 8 athlete in the 2025 class, per 247Sports, which also lists him as the No. 194 overall prospect. On3 places him as the No. 12 player in the state, the No. 5 athlete in the class and the No. 162 prospect overall.

Robinson can play safety, cornerback or wide receiver. In his junior season, he caught 22 passes for 514 yards and six touchdowns, while also recording 69 tackles and four interceptions on defense.

Which program is leading the race to earn Dylan Robinson's pledge?

UCLA appears to be leading the pack, boasting a 36.7% chance of landing Dylan Robinson's commitment, according to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine.

Their pursuit of the prospect dates back to when the previous staff extended an offer. The new head coach, DeShaun Foster, and his coaching staff have maintained and strengthened the program's interest in Robinson.

“The new staff is great. UCLA has great history and coach DeShaun Foster has a great vision and plan for the team. He is trying to get it back to what it was when he was there. Coach Foster is looking to do big things and I like his plan for the program,” Robinson said in the same interview.

One of the key factors influencing Robinson's decision is his relationship with safety coach Brian Norwood.

Norwood is a former colleague of Robinson's father, Danilo, and has known the family since their coaching days together in the late 1990s.

“He’s just a genuine, real person. He cares about you, like as a person," Robinson told Boston Bruins.

UCLA currently has 15 commitments in the 2025 class, and ranks No. 37 in the Rivals team ranking. The class features promising players like Jace Brown, Epi Sitanilei, Colton Gumino, Jadyn Hudson, Tyler Partlow, Madden Iamaleava, Karson Cox and Chase Coleman, among others.

While UCLA is the leader in securing Dylan Robinson's pledge, Washington and Notre Dame hold a 25.8% and 14.0% chance, respectively.
