Class of 2025 prospect Chris Johnson put on a stellar show for his school Mallard Creek in a tight 59-56 win against Myers Park on Dec. 10. Johnson helped his school bounce back after a 64-42 loss against Independence. He scored nine points and blocked two shots in that game. After the win against Myers Park, Mallard Creek now has a 3-3 record.

Johnson is currently ranked in the top 46 players in Division 4A West and the top 7 in 3A/4A Queen City, according to MaxPreps.
He is currently in his senior year and has played six games so far, averaging 10.0 PPG, 4.2 RPG, 1.5 APG, 0.7 SPG and 0.7 BPG, which is his best season so far. In his freshman year in 2021-22, Johnson played 16 matches and averaged 3.7 points per game.
In the next season, he averaged 4.9 points per contest in 21 matches during his sophomore year. In his junior year, he averaged 3.1 PPG, 3.1 RPG, 0.4 APG, 0.2 SPG and 0.5 BPG last season.
Johnson can play as a shooting guard as well as a small forward and has won Player of the Game thrice this season. The 6-foot-3 player has kept a 4.2 GPA also.

Johnson ranks at the second spot for his school in points per game (10.0) and total points (60). He ranks at the third spot in the blocks (4), rebounds (25) and assists (9).
One of his best performances came in the tight 48-46 win against R.J. Reynolds on Nov. 28. Johnson scored 12 points and grabbed six rebounds while shooting 62.5%. He was helped by Lajalin Overton, who grabbed nine rebounds, blocked three shots and scored eight points in the nail-biting win.
In December, Mallard Creek has played six games so far, winning three and losing three. They rank at the 208th position in North Carolina with a +/- stat of -29. In the 3A/4A Queen City Conference, they rank at the second spot below West Charlotte and above Chambers.
Chris Johnson has not committed to a college yet. However, the Class of 2025 recruit continues to perform for Mallard Creek. Which college do you think we will see him play for next season?
