Three-star wide receiver Landon Roldan has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs for the 2025 recruiting class. Roldan announced his commitment via a post on X on Thursday.

Hailing from North Oconee High School in Bogart, Georgia, he now becomes the first player from his school to join the Bulldogs, as confirmed by his high school coach Tyler Aurandt. He had 50 catches for 1,027 yards and 13 touchdowns as a junior last season.

Landon Roldan received offers from multiple programs, but he narrowed his final choices to Georgia and Georgia Tech. His standout moment came last month when he attended a camp in Athens and clocked 4.37 seconds in the 40-yard dash. After another workout session on June 13, he received an offer from the Bulldogs' wide receivers coach, James Coley.

The final decision followed official visits to both Georgia Tech and Georgia during the last two weekends of June. On the night he made his decision, Roldan’s first call was to offensive coordinator Mike Bobo, followed by Coley and then head coach Kirby Smart.

“Coach Bobo was super-excited and coach Coley was the same," Landon Roldan told On3. "He is ready for me to be part of the family. The coach Smart and his family were pumped when I gave him the news. It was a great feeling.”

Landon Roldan is ranked as the No. 63 wide receiver and the No. 44 player in Georgia by 247Sports. On3 ranks him as the No. 100 wide receiver, the No. 77 player in Georgia, and the No. 684 overall prospect in the Class of 2025.

With Roldan’s addition, Georgia now boasts 17 commitments for 2025, including three other wide receivers: Thomas Blackshear, Talyn Taylor, and Tyler Williams.

Georgia’s recruiting class is currently ranked third in the 247Sports Team Rankings. Alongside Roldan, the class features prospects like tight end Elyiss Williams, linebacker Jadon Perlotte, edge rusher Darren Ikinnagbon, tight end Ethan Barbour, quarterback Ryan Montgomery, and offensive tackle Mason Short, among others.

Georgia commitment has been a dream for Landon Roldan

As a lifelong Georgia fan, Landon Roldan idolized former Bulldogs running back Todd Gurley and was often seen in family pictures proudly wearing his Bulldogs jersey. The connection to UGA also runs deep in Roldan’s family, as his grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-uncle all graduated from the school.

“It was my dream growing up to play for Georgia, so after thinking about it for a couple of days, I couldn’t pass up committing to Georgia,” Roldan shared with On3.

Georgia boasts a stellar coaching staff, an energetic locker room, and also an electric atmosphere. Their winning history and commitment to player development are also key factors that excite the prospect.

“If you go to Georgia, you are going to get developed and turned into an amazing player. They have a history of that. At Georgia, I will get to go against the best and I can’t wait for that."

Landon Roldan plans to return to Athens in July and intends to be present at most home games this fall. He compares his playing style to that of former Bulldog receiver Ladd McConkey, who was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers this year.
