Three-star linebacker Jaiden Braker is getting recognition in his recruitment journey and has more than a dozen offers. The 2025 class prospect plays for South Gwinnett High School in Snellville, Georgia.
On Wednesday, Braker got an offer from Glenn Schumann, Georgia defensive coordinator and outside linebacker coach, for the Bulldogs' 2025 class. He tweeted his excitement:
"God is GOOD! After a great talk with @CoachSchuUGA am excited to receive an offer from @GeorgiaFootball @On3sports @NEGARecruits @JeremyO_Johnson @BCWright52 @RecruitGeorgia @dashperformance @rustymansell @ChadSimmons_ @247Sports #GoDawgs."
The 6-foot-3, 215-pound prospect committed to South Carolina on July 6, but his commitment to the Gamecocks began to waver following a visit to LSU on July 26. The trip to Baton Rouge for the Bayou Splash event left a lasting impression on Braker and earned him an offer from the Tigers. Within a week of the visit, he gave his verbal pledge to Brian Kelly and LSU.
Interestingly, four-star cornerback Shamari Earls also committed to South Carolina in April and announced on July 7 that he would commit to Georgia's 2025 class. Being a Georgia native, an offer from Kirby Smart's Bulldogs program could trigger Jaiden Braker to rethink his commitment a second time.
The Bulldogs' reputation for developing top defensive talent makes them a lucrative option for Braker. The program has five-star quarterback Jared Curtis as well as four-star cornerbacks Dominick Kelly and Jontavius Wyman committed to the 2025 class. The cycle ranks No. 4 in the nation and No. 3 in the Southeastern Conference as per On3.
Jaiden Braker's strong start to his senior season
Jaiden Braker has played two games as a senior, recording 15 total tackles (seven solo tackles and eight assisted tackles) and 0.5 sacks. Braker is building on an incredible junior year in 2023, where he tallied 48 tackles (23 solo, 25 assisted) and 0.5 sacks. Over his high school career, he has accumulated 63 tackles and one sack.
Jaiden Braker is the No. 706 overall prospect, the No. 75 linebacker in the 2025 cycle and the No. 78 recruit in Georgia, according to the On3 Industry Ranking. He has offers from multiple programs, including Kentucky, USF, NC State, Utah, Georgia Tech, BYU and Rutgers, among others.
