Three-star recruit Bradley Gompers, from Central Catholic High School in Pittsburgh, can excel both as a tight end and outside linebacker. The prospect is committed to Duke, but college programs keep flirting with him for their 2025 class.

Besides Pittsburgh, Michigan State, West Virginia and Cincinnati, Lane Kiffin's Ole Miss became the latest program to offer Gompers. Tight end coach Joe Cox reached out to the Gompers with the offer, and the prospect shared it on X, writing:

"After a conversation with @CoachJoeCox I’m excited to receive an offer from @OleMissFB!!"

Following the Ole Miss offer, Gompers also received an offer from NC State on the same day. He officially visited Duke on June 7 and found the program promising under Duke offensive coordinator Jonathan Brewer to commit to the Blue Devils on June 16.

Yet, with programs like Ole Miss pushing hard for his flip, it is clear that Gompers remains a high-value target. If he flips to Ole Miss, he will join the Rebels' 22nd-ranked recruiting class, which is currently 11th in the SEC. This class is bolstered by blue-chip prospects such as Andrew Maddox, Jarcoby Hopson and Keon Young.

Bradley Gompers is enjoying a phenomenal senior season

Bradley Gompers is enjoying a phenomenal senior season at Central Catholic. The Vikings kicked off the 2024 season with a tough 44-16 loss to powerhouse Saint Francis Academy on August 24. However, Gompers put in a stellar performance by hauling in four receptions for 98 yards and racking up 16 tackles.

Central Catholic followed up the loss with another close setback, this time against Pine-Richland on September 30. The Vikings fell 22-17. However, Gompers shone once again, recording 124 receiving yards and a touchdown.

The breakthrough finally came for Central Catholic in their third game, where they dominated Woodland Hills 54-14. Gompers continued his magnificent performance, finishing the game with 283 total receiving yards and two touchdowns.

Bradley Gompers is ranked by On3 as the nation's No. 71 athlete in the 2025 class and the No. 29 prospect in Pennsylvania. 247 Sports places him as the No. 94 athlete in the class and the No. 24 prospect in the state.
