Jayden Sanders, the four-star recruit from Kilgore High School, announced his commitment to Sherrone Moore's Michigan on Saturday. The cornerback from Texas chose the Wolverines over other top programs such as Baylor, Oklahoma State, TCU and SMU.

Sanders made the announcement to On3 and spoke about the reasons behind choosing Michigan over others.

"My choice is Michigan," the 6-foot-2 cornerback told On3. "The thing that made them right for me is the development of players in my position, the program’s history, and the school itself.
"The players show that everyone has bought into the vision of competing for a top spot. Michigan has the top three business schools in the country and with the pros not being a guarantee, a degree from the Ross School of Business is priceless."

The four-star prospect is ranked no.234 nationally and is the 27th-best cornerback in the country, as per On3 Industry Rankings. He is also the 32nd-best overall prospect from the state of Texas.

Michigan had the best chance of landing the coveted four-star recruit, as per On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine. The model gave them a massive 97.1% chance of acquiring the cornerback.

"My relationship with Coach Morgan and the other coaches is a reason also," Sanders told On3. "They have worked overtime to grow a relationship with me since I got the offer."

He also praised the Wolverines' ability to develop elite NFL defensemen and the program's CB development.

"Michigan keeps developing NFL corners with their defensive scheme and even with the coaching and staff changes. I fit the athletic profile of their corners," the defensive back said. "They’ve proven their DB development works."
