Four-star quarterback Julian Lewis played high school football at Carrollton in Georgia. During his time with the Trojans, Lewis played with some talented players, including Alabama wide receiver Caleb Odom. The two had a terrific partnership on the field in their two years together.

However, there is a chance the dynamic duo could reunite at the college level. Odom revealed to On3 that he will enter the NCAA transfer portal. He has played in all 12 of Alabama's games this season, but recorded only one start, against Mercer on Nov. 17.

On3 analyst Hayes Fawcett shared the news on X on Sunday, and Lewis quickly chimed in with a two-word reply to a comment shedding light on his on-field production with Odom at Carrollton:

"Family Business."

Deion Sanders has had a great record in the transfer portal since becoming the Buffs' coach. He may look to reunite his quarterback with his old high school teammate.

Odom caught 25 touchdown passes from Lewis during their two seasons together at Carrollton. He is ranked No. 54 nationally and was the eighth-best player in Georgia, as per On3.

Julian Lewis flipped his commitment from USC to Colorado

The 6-foot QB had been a USC commit since August 2023. However, he changed his mind last month and de-committed from the program to give his pledge to the Colorado Buffaloes on Nov. 21. He picked the Buffs over Auburn, Georgia and Indiana.

Lewis took four visits to Boulder, but Deion Sanders and company got serious about the quarterback in October. He visited Colorado's campus on Oct. 24 for its game against Cincinnati. That visit proved to be fruitful for the Buffaloes as they eventually signed the talented athlete on Dec. 4.

"It’s a huge opportunity!" Lewis said in a statement, via On3. "What Coach Prime has been able to build in two seasons can’t be denied. I’ve had a chance to get to know him and believe that he can further develop me into the player and person that I want to be."

Julian Lewis is ranked No. 39 in the country and is the sixth-best quarterback in the Class of 2025, as per On3. He is also the sixth-best recruit from the state of Georgia.
