The 2025 Spalding Hoophall Classic is scheduled to be held on Thursday at Springfield College. Over 48 teams from all over the United States will participate and showcase their basketball skills and talent. The event is a massive opportunity for emerging talent as well as the fans who would like to witness the future stars. Here are five schools to watch out for in the 2025 Hoophall Classic.

#5 Long Island Lutheran (LuHi)

The Long Island Lutheran is led by Kiyan Anthony, the son of NBA legend Carmelo Anthony. In 2024, Anthony averaged 19.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game while playing for the AAU team in the Nike EYBL circuit, averaging an impressive 19.6 points and 4.6 rebounds per game.

The Mingo brother duo who led LuHi in the absence of Anthony, among others, strengthened the team. LuHi’s skilled roster and strong play make them a contender to watch out for.

#4 Columbus High School

Led by the five-star forward Cameron Boozer, Columbus is another strong contender. Boozer, who was the 2022-23 Gatorade National Player of the Year, averaged 21.1 points, 11.2 rebounds, 4.2 assists, 2.0 blocks, and 1.3 steals per game. Alongside his twin brother, Cayden, the team’s chemistry and talent shine amongst the others and make the team a delight to witness.

#3 Wasatch Academy

Isiah Harwell, the third-ranked small guard in the class of 2025, is a versatile scorer and playmaker. He has led Wasatch Academy to several victories. The Houston commit averages 14.0 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.4 assists throughout his career. Considering the well-balanced team and consistency, Wasatch will be interesting to look forward to.

#2 Sierra Canyon

Bryce James, the son of NBA star LeBron James, is becoming a complete player. Fans look forward to seeing the young talent given his father's legacy. Sierra Canyon has other young athletes with high-caliber talent worth witnessing, which makes them a must-watch team.

#1 Utah Prep

Utah Prep has the top prospect in the class of 2026, AJ Dybantsa. The 6-foot-9 player has given many stellar performances. His scoring prowess, size, and court vision make him a spectacular watch. It’s hard to miss out on Utah Prep.
