Link Academy power forward Chris Cenac has led his team to an 8-2 record. But they are about to face their most daunting task yet this Sunday against the Boozer Twins and Montverde Academy at the Jordan Holiday Classic.

Before that, however, he and five-star 2026 prospect Jason Crowe Jr. exchanged some comments.

The post featured Crowe playing for his school, Inglewood, along with an image of a quote that reads, "Me versus me, I don't see no competitors." This was when Chris Cenac commented, and Crowe replied.

"jcrowee." wrote Chris Cenac in the comments section.
"@chriscenac1 cenacccc," replied Jason Crowe Jr."

Chris Cenac chose Houston last month despite a strong late recruitment push from LSU. Other schools that tried recruiting him included Auburn, Arkansas and Kentucky. He has already signed with the school and is Houston's second five-star commit, the other being shooting guard Isiah Harwell.

As for Crowe, he is still a junior and is not expected to pick the school of his choice anytime soon. However, favorites include UCLA, Alabama, Arizona State, Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Villanova, USC and more.

He is currently ranked by 247Sports as the No. 8 overall in the Class of 2026 and the No. 2 point guard, as well as the No. 5 overall in California.

Chris Cenac and Link Academy breeze past Kiyan Anthony-less Long Island Lutheran

On Dec. 15, Chris Cenac and the Link Academy Lions participated in the Tarkanian Classic in Las Vegas, Nevada. They took on the less-than-100% Long Island Lutheran Crusaders, who were missing their star player, Kiyan Anthony, due to injury.

While the son of Carmelo Anthony was out, it was another NBA son who shone during that game. It was Andre Iguodala Jr., who had a game-high 14 points, three rebounds, four assists and three steals.

Meanwhile, five-star Cenac only had seven points, five rebounds, one assist and three steals as they led the Lions to a 66-42 victory.

Meanwhile, five-star 2026 point guard Dylan Mingo had 13 points, three rebounds, three assists and two steals. Meanwhile, his big brother, four-star Penn State commit Kayden Mingo, added 10 points, three rebounds, four assists and one block for Long Island Lutheran.

Link Academy will next face No. 2 ranked Cameron Boozer and No. 21 ranked Cayden Boozer in a battle that pits the two top power forwards in the Class of 2025 against one another. This will happen at the Jordan Holiday Classic in New York on Sunday.
