The LSU Lady Tigers have been red-hot this season, with Kim Mulkey's team dominating with an unbeaten 18-0 record. Many people have noticed that the team from Baton Rouge has yet to taste defeat this season, LSU commit and five-star guard ZaKiyah Johnson being one of them, who shared her future team's feat on her Instagram stories.

The Lady Tigers' record extended to 18-0 after beating Tennessee, 89–87. This makes LSU the only Southeastern Conference team to have remained undefeated at this point in the season, and the Lady Tigers are now 3-0 in conference play.
Aneesah Morrow led the squad with a double-double of 23 points and 21 rebounds, with her being a perfect 5/5 from the free-throw line. Kaitlyn Gilbert added 22 points and five rebounds, while Flau’jae Johnson added 20 points, three assists, two steals and eight rebounds for the Lady Tigers. Rounding it out is Mikaylah Williams who contributed 16 points and three rebounds to the win.
LSU now tops the SEC, with the 16-1 Texas currently in second place and defending NCAA national champion South Carolina still going strong in third place with a 15-1 record. The team is currently ranked No. 6 nationally.

LSU is not just read hot on the court but also has the best crop of recruits from the Class of 2025. The team has four recruits so far, but those four are all considered five-star prospects and are among the best high school girls' basketball players.
In any other college recruitment class, No. 7-ranked Grace Knox, No. 9-ranked Divine Bourrage, No. 10-ranked ZaKiyah Johnson and No. 29-ranked Bella Hines would be considered the headliners. However, all four of them are coming to Baton Rouge. All of them have visited the school and even participated in various photoshoots with the other recruits wearing the LSU uniform.
Kim Mulkey also tried to recruit the No. 1 ranked overall prospect for the Class of 2025, Aaliyah Chavez, but this did not push through after LSU reportedly took itself out of contention. The school made it to her final six choices before it took itself out.
