Rutgers commit Lino Mark hit the 1000 career point mark on Wednesday after delivering 25 points to help Notre Dame to a commanding 93-54 victory. In celebration of this milestone, the Knights five-star forward Tyran Strokes shared a post announcing the achievement via his Instagram story on Thursday with a caption:

The post, which was originally shared by "Ball is Life," also featured a highlight reel of Mark's performance during the game. In the clip, the 6-foot-3 guard is seen combining perfectly with teammates and finishing every move with buckets, three-pointers, and dunks.

Lino Mark joined the Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) High School basketball team as a freshman and has consistently developed in performance and quality over the years. In his first year, he only averaged 3.4 points and 1.8 rebounds per game. However, in his sophomore year, he bumped that up to 5.3 points and 2.3 rebounds per game.

Last year, he ended his junior season with 15.9 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game, a considerable improvement from his previous season. Mark's 1000-point milestone means he's now scored over 200 points as a senior.

Tyran Stokes, on the other hand, is a five-star class of 2026 junior who's also been a crucial part of the Notre Dame (Sherman Oaks) Knights. On Wednesday, Stokes also played a crucial part, delivering 17 points and 10 rebounds.

While Lino Mark, a class of 2025 prospect, has already committed to Rutgers, Stokes is still considering his options. Although he currently holds 25 college offers, Stokes is currently focused on the Knights and could remain with the team next season unless he decides to reclassify.

"It feels amazing to join a great program": Lino Mark opens up about his commitment to Rutgers

Lino Mark announced his commitment to Rutgers last December, choosing the Scarlet Knights over Washington State, TCU, and California-Santa Barbara. Speaking about the decision, the point guard considers it a great opportunity and feels amazing to have chosen the program.

"It feels amazing to commit to Rutgers," he said. "It's always a process to get to this next level and I feel like I'm playing for a great program, a great opportunity, and to fit into a new environment.
"I have the opportunity to get better and play the game I love, and it's a blessing. It was a no-brainer that Rutgers was the school for me."

Mark will be joined by other class of 2025 prospects, including Chatsworth Forward Chris Nwuli, 6-foot-7 Gervonte Ware, and 6-foot-5 shooting guard Kaden Powers, who have also committed to Rutgers.
