AJ Dybantsa, the No. 1 recruit from the Class of 2025, has been working out with Philadelphia 76ers star Paul George. He was even featured in a vlog by fellow high school basketball star Kiyan Anthony, son of Carmelo Anthony.
During his appearance on "Podcast P", Paul George's podcast, Dybantsa revealed that he had been "stealing" from the NBA All-Star's workout routine.
Dybantsa talked about working out with George during last summer's Peach Jam in Augusta, Georgia, and getting to copy some of PG-13's workouts.
"You know, Paul George is just one of them, so me being able to work out with him, I was really seeing like because he plays my position, so I'm like, I'm learning from one of the best in my position of all time and I really get to see how he works out what he works on," said AJ Dybantsa. "I'm going say it, like, my warm-up routine, I stole some of the stuff from that workout, so I mean, just stuff like that." (58:06 - 58:26)
Dybantsa has also had the chance to work out with other NBA stars, as the podcast revealed.

The Utah Prep star was then asked about working out with some of the biggest names in basketball. Dybantsa noted that he found a lot of differences in how each star worked out, including Chris Paul and LeBron James.
"There's a lot of differences cuz you have, you have guys like, uh, Chris Paul, who's not a 6-9 tall, athletic, just I'm going just rise over you. He manipulates the game in so many different ways which I learned like he's talking about, he's setting the screen or np, the other dude setting the screen, and he's telling the offensive player, he's telling the defensive player to switch like you just he's talking about, you got to know your guy's voice, he's dribbling the ball so hard he's not losing the ball," he explained. "Then you (have) guys like LeBron who does a little bit of everything in his workouts and then you have guys like K.T. that's simplifying his workouts," he continued. "I'm just going to work on two dribble Pull-Ups for the whole time because I'm seven foot, I'm gonna rise up over you, I don't got to do too many moves, but it was, I like (learn) a lot from different people's game." (59:25-59:35)
AJ Dybantsa once again discussed the podcast's host, who plays the same position as him. He admitted that his style of play has been compared to George's, but that he has also been incorporating some of Tracy McGrady's moves.
George then revealed that T-Mac was his favorite player and modeled his playstyle after him.
