5-star recruit Meleek Thomas reacts to Arkansas forward Karter Knox's post ahead of Ole Miss game

Five-star Arkansas commit Meleek Thomas reacted to Arkansas forward Karter Knox's Instagram post on Wednesday. Knox shared several photos of himself playing for Arkansas ahead of the Ole Miss game, showcasing moments of celebration, defense and interactions with fans and teammates.

On Wednesday, Arkansas lost to Ole Miss 73-66 in its SEC home opener. The Razorbacks (11-4, 0-2) started strong, leading by nine points in the first half, but the Rebels (13-2, 2-0) overtook them in the second half.

After halftime, Ole Miss's ball control limited Arkansas's offensive opportunities despite the presence of their big men. Johnell Davis, who scored 11 points in the first half, struggled to contribute after the break.

Ole Miss forward Malik Dia was the standout performer, scoring 21 points, while Arkansas' Adou Thiero led his team with 17 points. Knox recorded four points, one rebound and one assist.

Arkansas will face No. 8 Florida on Saturday.

Meleek Thomas continues to lead OTE City Reapers

Meleek Thomas, the No. 7 overall prospect in the 2025 class, committed to Arkansas in November. He joined fellow five-star Darius Acuff at Arkansas, which is also something fans are looking forward to seeing.

The standout athlete from Pittsburgh has excelled in Overtime Elite.

This season, Thomas has been a key player for the OTE City Reapers, averaging 28.0 points, 8.6 rebounds, 5.1 assists and 1.9 steals over 10 games. His return in December sparked a resurgence for the Reapers, leading them to four wins in five games, including an 85-81 victory over the previously undefeated YNG Dreamerz on Dec. 14.
