Tyran Stokes, a five-star recruit from the 2026 class, put up a show at the Desert Holiday Classic on Friday. The tournament began on Thursday and will continue till Monday.

Tyran's Notre Dame played just one showcase game against Sierra Vista on Friday. Hometeamhoops' Instagram handle shared the 6-foot-7 youngster's highlights from the game.

"Tyran Stokes tonight at the Desert Holiday Classic," the caption of the original post read.

Stokes took to his Instagram to share the clip on his handle as well. He reshared the highlights on his Instagram story with a two-word reaction that said:

"Good bumps."

The compilation began with Stokes receiving a pass and smashing the ball into the basket. Next up, he received a rebound from the frame and scored another basket.

Following a missed throw from his teammate, the small forward claimed the ball and added more points to his tally. He went on to showcase his shooting skills and dropped a bucket with a precise throw. It felt like Tyran just wanted to show how easy it was for him with an effortless throw into the basket.

Then, it was time for Tyran Stokes to stun the audience with his skills. He received a difficult pass and dunked it home. In the next clip, he brushed past multiple defenders to score a spectacular bucket.

Stokes also made some precise passes to assist his teammates. Not to mention the impressive jump to block the opponent's attempt and then flawlessly performing a cunning turn to score more points for his team.

Notre Dame Knights defeated the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions with a scoreline of 70-43. Tyran's side has kept an impressive 13-1 record this season and is among the top 15 teams in California. Their only loss came against Roosevelt Mustangs last week.

Why did Tyran Stokes transferred from Prolific Prep to Notre Dame?

Tyran Stokes joined Notre Dame from Napa Prolific Prep in July this year despite performing very well at his former school. He recorded 12.3 points, 5.6 assists and seven rebounds per game at Napa Prolific Prep. The young lad cleared the air about his transfer while talking to Sports Illustrated on Dec. 11.

"At Prolific (Prep), it was basketball, basketball, basketball, at here (Notre Dame) I get to enjoy, you know, time with myself," he told SI.

The No.1 small forward in the Class of 2026 wants to have a normal high school experience. His practice gets over around 5:30, and it allows him to chill with his dog, try different stuff, study and even take little breaks for himself.

On the other hand, at his former school, he got back to his room by 9:30 PM, leaving little to no time for him to do other things.
