5-star small forward Tyran Stokes attended the Washington Huskies' matchup against UCLA at Pauley Pavilion, showing support for his former Prolific Prep High School pal, Zoom Diallo, on December 4. Stokes shared a clip of Diallo’s play on his Instagram story, tagging him with a three-word message:
"Let’s Work 9.”
In the clip, Diallo can be seen skillfully navigating the court, slicing through defenders before jumping for a smooth shot over the opposition. He finished the game with eight points, seven rebounds and three assists in 29 minutes. Despite his contributions, the Huskies fell to UCLA 58-69.
Tyran Stokes and Zoom Diallo are school pals; both attended Prolific Prep High School in Napa, California. Considered No. 1 in the 2026 class by 247Sports, Stokes enrolled in Prolific Prep before the start of his freshman year. Conversely, Diallo transferred there from Curtis Senior High School before his senior year.
Diallo, who won the Washington Gatorade Player of the Year as a junior, posted an outstanding average of 20.2 points, 5.5 assists, 4.4 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game in his freshman year. He received over 29 offers and ultimately picked the Washington Huskies over the Arizona Wildcats in December last year.
Likewise, Stokes, considered the top prospect in the 2026 class, became the second player, following fellow teammate AJ Dybantsa, to get an invitation to the NBAPA Top 100 Camp. Stokes turned heads at Nike Peach Jam; Diallo posted an average of 11.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game.

His impressive performance at Nike Peach Jam and the FIBA Under-16 Americas Championship, where he averaged 10.3 points, 4.8 rebounds and 3.8 assists per game, put him on the radar of top programs across the country.
