Tyran Stokes, the five-star prospect, has yet again gained the attention of fans as he accomplishes another milestone. In his debut match at Hoophall West Classic, Stokes’ 20-point contribution might not have helped his team win, but it landed him in the 1000-point club in high school basketball, with 1,003 points.

In an Instagram post shared by Ballislife on Friday, Stokes is featured in the photo with the caption “1,000 POINT CLUB!!” In the following clip from the game, he is seen dribbling smoothly past the defenders and scoring buckets.

“@_thetyranstokes opened up @hoophallclassic with 20 Pts & 8 Reb to put him at 1,003 total points in his High School career 😤😤,” the caption said.

A post by Courtside Films on Friday also highlighted Stokes’ all-round play.

On Thursday, the Hoophall West Classic began with round-robin games with six teams among the top 25 nationally-ranked teams. Layton Christian Academy closely edged out Notre Dame 54-53 in the second game. The game's deciding moment was senior center Albert Ntungicimpaye scoring a game-winning basket in the final 10 seconds.

Tyrin Jones, with 14 points and 10 rebounds, along with Alan Gballou, who contributed 13 points and 12 rebounds, led the Eagles. For Notre Dame, Stokes tallied 20 points on 7-of-19 shooting, eight rebounds, three steals, and two blocks.

College offers lined up for Tyran Stokes

The five-star small forward from Louisville is one of the most promising prospects in the class of 2026. According to On3, Tyran Stokes ranks No. 2 overall and is the best small forward in his class. He is known for his scoring ability, defensive skills, and consistent performances. From time to time, he has drawn attention from fans and the top basketball programs nationwide.

The 6-foot-7 player has 26 Division I offers, including Louisville, Kentucky, Alabama, and UCLA. Recently, Rutgers also extended an offer to Stokes. This would be Rutgers’ third five-star offer to a class of 2026 recruit. Meanwhile, Louisville made an offer way back in October 2022. Mikel Brown Jr. has recently announced his commitment to Louisville.

It will be interesting to see where Tyran Stokes’ choice leans, but for now, the decision remains impending. Regardless of that, fans look forward to his balanced and consistent performances.
