"Committing on Monday!!!!" Thomas posted on Saturday.

Thomas is down to his final three: Arkansas, UConn and his hometown school, Pitt. Last week, he dropped Kansas, Kansas State, Alabama and Auburn, some of which he previously visited.

Meleek Thomas is the No. 8 overall prospect from the Class of 2025 and also the No. 2 shooting guard, per On3. Arkansas remains the favorite, as it has a 94.2% chance of landing him, according to On3. Pitt is at 1.4% and UConn has a less than 1% chance.

Arkansas has been the most aggressive school, although Thomas admitted that he has strong ties with Pitt. However, he is also considering defending champions UConn as the school has a winning history.

Meleek Thomas's team is on a losing streak without him

Thomas is playing semi-professional basketball with Overtime Elite, a league for young players aiming to make it to the big stage. However, he is still eligible to go to college as OTE pays him via his NIL, while also maintaining a school element, so he and other players can transition to higher education.

Meleek Thomas has become one of the biggest stars for the City Reapers. The team had a strong start, going 2-0 with the five-star prospect averaging a double-double of 25.0 points and 12.0 rebounds per game.

However, he has missed some games, leading to the City Reapers losing twice in a row. The team lost 97-90 to Fear of God Athletics on Saturday and 77-69 to Jelly Farm on Sunday.

Amari Evans stepped up in Thomas' absence and had a double-double against Fear of God Athletics, scoring 26 points and grabbing 10 rebounds.
