Five-star prospect Steven Reynolds III reached a new career high as he scored an impressive 50 points to lead South Bend Washington to a dominant win last Saturday.
Popular basketball page 'league.ready' shared a post on Tuesday that featured a video highlighting the MSU target's standout performance in that match.
The match, which ended in a commanding 87-51 victory against Hobart High School, appeared to be another routine win for the Panthers, but it was Reynolds who was the difference maker. Alongside his impressive 50-point score, he also delivered eleven rebounds and five assists.
5-foot-10 sophomore DaKori Parker also played an important part in the win, contributing alongside 6-foot-5 shooting guard Gabriel Burgin to score a combined 18 points. Parker ended the game with 9 points, nine assists and five steals, while Burgin delivered 9 points and six rebounds.
On the other end of the court was 6-foot-2 junior Ryan Basham, who was the standout player for Hobart High School. He put up an extra 25 points, eight rebounds and four assists, which unfortunately wasn't enough to get them a win against the dominant Panthers.
With the victory, the Panthers are now on a four-game winning streak and have also bumped up to a 7-1 record. They'll definitely be hoping to continue this winning momentum as they face Merrillville in their game on Thursday.
Where Will Steven Reynolds Play College Basketball?
Despite being a class of 2026 prospect, four-star point guard Stephen Reynolds already has 15 college offers on his desk. This includes top college programs like Michigan State, Notre Dame, Purdue, Ohio State and Indiana, among others.
According to ON3 predictions, Purdue is currently the favorite to secure his commitment, with a significant 56.4% chance. Next in line are Notre Dame and DePaul, who have a 4.5% and 3.8% chance, respectively.
As a class of 2026 prospect, Reynolds definitely still has a lot of time to make his decision. But for now, he will be committed to helping the Panthers as they gun for their fifth consecutive win against Merrillville on Thursday.
