USC signee Jazzy Davidson showed why she is a five-star recruit in the Clackamas Cavaliers' 79-54 win against the Springfield Millers on Thursday to extend their record to 8-2. Davidson entered the 2,000 career points club during the win, and Overtime Select took to Instagram to share game highlights.

The 6-foot-1 senior was seen dominating the paint with excellent footwork, fadeaway shots and hustling for second-chance points. The post also saw her teammates clapping for her towards the end as she received a ball:

"CONGRATS JAZZY SO HAPPY FOR YOU 🎉🎊🏀 @jazzydavidson (📸: @ssvisualworks )," the post was captioned.

The three-time Gatorade Oregon Girls Basketball Player of the Year averaged 26.4 points, 7.7 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 3.8 steals per game in her junior year for the Cavaliers.

Furthermore, she averaged 21.4 points, 7.1 rebounds, 2.8 steals and 2.5 assists per game to win the Mt. Hood Conference Player of the Year in 2023, leading her school to an unbeaten run and helping them win their first state title.

She also helped Team USA win the gold medal at the 2024 FIBA U18 AmeriCup, averaging 11.3 ppg, 3.8 rpg, 3.2 apg and 1.3 bpg. She was also a part of the 2024 USA 3x3 Women's U18 National Team and attended the inaugural USA Basketball Women’s Junior National Team April minicamp (2023) in Dallas.

Clackamas High School coach Tom Cole had nothing but praise for Davidson in an interview with Gatorade in March:

“In my opinion, Jazzy is the most transformational player our state has seen in the last two decades," Cole said. "Her physical attributes combined with her talent and ability to impact the game in so many aspects make her a truly special player.”

Why did Jazzy Davidson choose USC?

With offers from top programs including Baylor, California, Iowa, Michigan, North Carolina, Ohio State, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCLA and Utah, Jazzy Davidson committed to USC in September. She also talked about her decision with On3, commending their campus and sharing her experience meeting JuJu Watkins:

"(My visit to USC) was 10 out of 10," Davidson said. "The campus is beautiful. It's a great school educationally, which is really important to me. I met the players and JuJu was my host, so just getting to meet her and getting to know the players was really cool."

Jazzy Davidson is the first player from the 2025 Class to commit to the Trojans.
