The Indiana Hoosiers could be adding serious height and talent to their roster with 7-foot-1 center Fridrik Leo Curtis, a rising star in the Class of 2025. Originally from Reykjavik, Iceland, Curtis made waves on social media on Wednesday after sharing a series of posts on his Instagram page @LeoCurt1s.
In the posts, which capture moments from his official visit to Bloomington, Curtis is seen donning the Indiana Hoosiers' No. 24 jersey and was also pictured with head coach Mike Woodson.
Curtis also posted about this visit on X, sharing his excitement with fans:
"Had a great time on an official visit to Indiana. Would like to thank coach Woodson, coach Hunter and the entire coaching staff for a great visit."
Curtis, who currently plays at Cambridge Arts, Technology and Science (CATS) Academy in Massachusetts, is currently ranked No. 69 in the 2025 class while also being the highest-ranked player in Massachusetts. Playing in the Icelandic Subway League, the four-star recruit averaged an impressive 15 points and eight rebounds per game. He's also featured for his home nation, Iceland, in the under-20 European championships, where he had a respectable performance, averaging 5.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.1 blocks per game.
Overall, Curtis has a unique combination of size, skill and versatility. If the Hoosiers land him, they stand to gain a game-changing presence in their lineup.
