Bryce Underwood, the No.1 ranked prospect in the Class of 2025, announced his commitment to the LSU Tigers in January 2024. However, there are rumors of Michigan flipping his commitment as they continue to pursue the quarterback.

The 6-4 quarterback was in Louisiana this weekend to watch the Tigers' game against Alabama on Saturday. Sports Center shared a post about Underwood's appearance on LSU's campus. He was surrounded by LSU fans as he took pictures and gave them autographs.

The game, however, did not go LSU's way as they were trounced by the Crimson Tide, 42-13. It was their second loss on the trot as they were defeated by the Texas A&M Aggies on October 27.

The recent results have fans worried on social media as they expressed concern over LSU's ability to hold onto Underwood.

"Chose the wrong day to take a visit," one fan said.
"After the Tide rolls……won’t be back," another fan wrote.
"Just for him to flip to michigan," another fan commented.

Michigan, on the other hand, hasn't had a great season either, as they have lost five games this season. They are also on a two-game losing streak, but the defending champions are one of the top contenders to flip Underwood.

"Michigan Man #goblue," one fan wrote.
"Michigan fans so desperate," another fan commented.
"He’s still gonna flip," another fan wrote.

On3' Pete Nakos sheds light on Michigan's pursuit of Bryce Underwood

Five-star quarterback Bryce Underwood announced his commitment to the LSU Tigers in January 2024. Despite his early commitment, the Michigan Wolverines are rumored to flip the Michigan-based recruit.

According to On3's Pete Nakos, Michigan is pulling all the stops to land the five-star prospect, including giving him a great NIL deal.

"Industry sources told On3 that Underwood is expected to land a NIL package valued above $5 million over three to four years, regardless of the program that lands his signature on National Signing Day," Nakos wrote, as per On3.

Michigan's Class of 2025 is ranked 11th in the country, as per 247Sports. The Wolverines have landed 19 commitments so far from the class, including one five-star prospect in Kansas native Andrew Babalola.

Acquiring Underwood will certainly boost the Wolverines' rankings and give them a top-level quarterback for the future.
