Four-star tight end Marshall Pritchett has flipped from North Carolina to Alabama. The standout from Rabun Gap-Nacoochee School in Georgia previously committed to the Tar Heels in March.
Pritchett joins four-star recruit Kaleb Edwards as the second TE in Alabama's 2025 class, which ranks No. 1 nationally and in the Southeastern Conference. Following his commitment to the Crimson Tide, Edwards welcomed Pritchett via his Instagram story.

The decision came a few weeks after Pritchett visited Tuscaloosa for the Georgia game on Sept. 28, which was his third time on campus this year. He visited Kalen DeBoer's program in March and received an offer two months later. He made another official visit in June.
The Crimson Tide's 2025 class now has 23 commits They also flipped JuCo defender Kevonte Henry from Mississippi State on Oct. 14.

Alabama tight end coach Bryan Ellis led the charge in Marshall Pritchett's recruitment from start to finish. From DeBoer to offensive coordinator Nick Sheridan, the whole Alabama coaching staff ensured he felt prioritized throughout the process.
"Coach Ellis, coach DeBoer and coach Sheridan did an amazing job just chipping away," Pritchett said on Tuesday, via Bama247. "It felt like my commitment was made for me. It just fell into my lap."
Pritchett started his high school career playing quarterback in 10th grade, and now he is a coveted TE prospect. He was convinced that Alabama was the right fit for his development.
“They have plans to use me in a scheme where I believe I will thrive. Also, just the program in and of itself; Alabama is a program that consistently pumps people into the NFL year in and year out.
Marshall Pritchett also received offers from Florida State, Miami, Missouri, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Michigan, among others. He is ranked by the On3 Industry Ranking as the No. 336 overall prospect in the nation, the No. 21 tight end in the 2025 class and the No. 45 recruit in Georgia.
